Ryzen 3rd Gen itx worth buying under $200

I want to buy a Ryzen 3rd itx motherboard for gaming only. This pc will only be use for gaming hook up to my  tv and not for productivity. Can someone recommend a motherboard and cpu that is a great deal this weekend?

I was looking at this list that have a few itx motherboard in it where the bios can support 3rd gen Ryzen, any recommendations?

1. Dont just look at Asus, MSI and Asrock makes excellent ITX boards as well. Gigabyte ITX boards are weaker but unless you plan on high power draw CPUs, they're fine

2. Budget?

3. Unfortunately all ITX boards need CPU for bios flashing before they work with 3rd gen

CPU: i7-2600K 4751MHz 1.44V (software) --> 1.47V at the back of the socket Motherboard: Asrock Z77 Extreme4 (BCLK: 103.3MHz) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 RAM: Adata XPG 2x8GB DDR3 (XMP: 2133MHz 10-11-11-30 CR2, custom: 2203MHz 10-11-10-26 CR1 tRFC:230 tREFI:14000) GPU: Asus GTX 1070 Dual (Super Jetstream vbios, +70(2025-2088MHz)/+400(8.8Gbps)) SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB (main boot drive), Transcend SSD370 128GB PSU: Seasonic X-660 80+ Gold Case: Antec P110 Silent, 5 intakes 1 exhaust Monitor: AOC G2460PF 1080p 144Hz (150Hz max w/ DP, 121Hz max w/ HDMI) TN panel Keyboard: Logitech G610 Orion (Cherry MX Blue) with SteelSeries Apex M260 keycaps Mouse: BenQ Zowie FK1

There's not many deals for ITX boards in Canada right now

The B450I Gaming Plus was just on sale for 150 about a week ago, but no longer.

For cpu- 3600/x and 2700/x are both having good sales

Laughs in X570 I Aorus pro wifi

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Well, it's a little overkill for just a 6 core, did you plan on upgrading to a lot more cores in the future, perhaps for non gaming purposes?

B450 would be the more economical choice, as any cheap B450 itx board gets the job done and then some for a 6 core. Got a friend who can lend a CPU to update?

Well yes, but it sort of sucks not to have an upgrade path to next gen

I know, cause the only way out i see is to but a cheap amd cpu to upgrade the motherboard bios. the GIGABYTE X570 I AORUS PRO WIFI does support bios flashback, does that make a difference image.thumb.png.a87489922ed4c7e16f74267505e9e22c.png

There's also the boot kit from AMD, if you reach out to their customer support and provide proof of purchase of the motherboard they should loan you a CPU that you ship back when you're done

Also, I've never done it myself but you should be able to contact the retailer and see if they can give some info, or update it.

X570 works with 3rd gen out of the box already even without BIOS flashback, so unfortunately it doesnt really help
