I need help!! my Asus X370 Crosshair Vi hero refuses to shutdown and corrupted my os and now it is loading infinitely

Let me guess, when you shut down your system the MOBO doesn't turn off?

Did you tried updating your BIOS?

Hey, infinite boot loop can mean many things. My pc goes to infinite boot loop when enabling xmp trough bios. I have to use ryzen master to change timings etc. And btw on infinite boot loop, sometimes it will boot to bios setup. Do not know the reason

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

Gpu tier list. Rtx 3000 and RX 6000 not included since not so many reviews. Tier S for Water cooling. Tier A and B for overcloking. Tier C stock and Tier D avoid.

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)

Mine is on the latest. And when I force shut it down, it literally corrupted my raid ssd

There is, it's called DOCP, if I remember correctly. Had this board long time ago.
Such behavior may be due to incorrect overclock settings, or a failing SSD/hard drive, or a faulty motherboard.
Troubleshoot by disconnecting devices one by one to see what causes the problem. Do CLR CMOS first.

Uhh mine is different BTW. Mine is like it shutdown but the board doesn't shutdown with all other components such as my aio, hdd ssd ram and fan. But when I do a hard reset, it literally corrupted my windows 10 boot sector

My ssd is definitely not dead or faulty, same goes to my motherboard. I have did a cmos clear multiple of times.
