DDR Question on Clockspeeds

So i have finally gotten my gpu. and have installed windows and few drivers. but when i went to bios. i noticed that ram runs 2100~ MHz instead of full 3200Mhz.

 

I have:
MB: msi tomahawk B450 max

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600

RAM: Corsair vengance lpx 3200MHz (4 sticks - 8GB each = 32 GB)

GPU: Asus Rog Strix 2060 OC 6GB

 

what do i do??

Go into your BIOS and turn on XMP/XAMP.

Yes. 

There should be a tab for fan control (you might have to go to advanced mode, using F7). There you can set up the curves for all your fans in your system (including your CPU fan, not including your GPU fan).

did go to bios and try setting fan speed curves. but they still ramped at full speed. :(

 

EDIT:
Nevermind. my dumbass connected 3 front case fans withs splitter to a pump header :D lmao

Still e-xmp is turned on. And profile lreset 2 is selected. Where ram should run from 2993 if j remember correctly. To full 3200mhz. But its still at 2131 mhz

Are you hitting F7 to go into advance mode? Then Clicking OC on the left?

Then you should See DRAM Settings A-XMP is it set to Profile 2?

DRAM Frequency should be set 3200Mhz?

Post a picture of your bios Under Advance Mode OC page please.

If you set Profile 1 does it do the same thing?

I thing i god ripped. Packaging says it can run 3200 but bios says max speed 2100  ? wtf

The memory can do rated speed most likely, your problem is most likely the IMC on the CPU won't Gen1 ryzen memory support sucks.

 

Set your XMP profile to 1 but manually set DRAM frequency to 2667Mhz that is the rated speed of the IMC on gen1 see if it will boot.

We will work though it, if you can boot 2667Mhz that tell us the IMC isn't the issue and 3200Mhz is just to high of an OC

Trying to get first gen ryzen to run 3200 is pretty hard and not every cpu can do it.

1st gen Ryzen was notoriously picky on what RAM it would even run on, let alone do 3200Mhz

 

You probably need a combination of it being on the QVL of the motherboard as well as a golden chip to achieve that.
