Upgrading from stock cooler

If He has only 40$ Budget, the diamond paste would eat al lot of that. He might Not be able to get a decent cooler with the Rest of the money, so I would recommend the New cooler over the better thermal paste

Fair.  It’s a surer shot.  I typed that last paste reference befor I learned that undervolting failed.  Computing in tropical areas seems to have issues and they’re only going to get worse.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

You asked the same question here:

Why not go with the Gammaxx GTE?

Because they aren’t a listed vendor in pcpartpicker I suspect.  There’s a “game max” but no gammaxx.

ive never heard of them either actually.  Got linx?

Top hit on google is Walmart. They want $86 for what looks a lot like a 4 pipe cooler. Newegg seems to want $30.

the old school philosophy on coolers was “count the pipes” this assumed relatively equal quality pipes and connections though.  It doesn’t work any more because manufacturers saw it and started making lousy pipes with cheap fin connections and it became possible to find 6pipe coolers that were worse than 3 pipe ones.  If the deepcool gammaxx GTE has the same construction quality as the hyper212 it will be about the same, which is more than you need.

Seems like you didn't look at the previous thread where the OP mentioned shopping from Malaysia.

Also, the Gammaxx GTE is on pcppartpicker. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/cr8j4D/deepcool-gammaxx-gte-565-cfm-cpu-cooler-gammaxx-gte

I tried to find at my local shop, and they don't carry that brand. So it's a bit difficult. Also, I don't really trust lelong.com.my, because I had a bad experienced where my products purchased does not matched the description (and I paid a heavy price, too), and warranty claims is too much hassle. I prefer to go to the shop, at least it'll be easier to claim the warranty and you can get the item you purchased immediately, and also they can give a better customer support should I have difficulty install it into my system.

I create a new posts here because now I have a better list of the coolers that the shop offers and I get a 1 to 1 exchange or refund should the product I bought is not within my satisfactory standard. Sometimes I can get a great hidden discount or I can check the RTC bins (where they just dump everything that they couldn't sell off with price close to dirt cheap). I knew it might be redundant, but I think this is a new topic. I'm actually list the coolers that I spotted in the shop and asked for information about them, such as which one is better, or whether they are any good for my needs.

Oh yeah, an update:

I'm browsing Cooler Master website, and I found out that the Hyper 212 LED (single fan variants) comes with an extra fan mount should you want to mount another fan. Is this true? Can anyone clarify?

Yes, all 212 versions come with brackets. Most coolers which support 2nd fan come with those. 212 uses plastic clips you screw into fan.

Can you link to the shop you're actually going to?

If it's not out of your budget, I'd recommend the Mugen 5 Rev. B. Otherwise, the Kotetsu MK II is a bit cheaper and still good.
