CPU cooler needed

Recently acquired a 2600x OEM new and cheap without a cooler, any recommendations on a quality heatsink and fan?

budget?

 

for all around cooling, the Hyper 212 and the Gammaxx 400 works fine. for around $20-$40

 

 

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

CPU             : Ryzen 5 3600 (Formerly Ryzen 3 1200)

GPU             : ASUS RX 580 Dual OC (Formerly ASUS GTX 1060 but it got corroded for some odd reasons)

GPU COOOER      : ID Cooling Frostflow 120 VGA (Stock cooler overheats even when undervolted :()

MOBO            : MSI B350m Bazooka

MEMORY          : Team Group Elite TUF DDR4 3600 Mhz CL 16
STORAGE         : Seagate Baracudda 1TB and Kingston SSD
PSU             : Thermaltake Lite power 550W (Gonna change soon as i dont trust this)
CASE            : Rakk Anyag Frost
CPU COOLER      : ID-Cooling SE 207
CASE FANS       : Mix of ID cooling fans, Corsair fans and Rakk Ounos (planned change to ID Cooling)
DISPLAY         : SpectrePro XTNS24 144hz Curved VA panel
MOUSE           : Logitech G603 Lightspeed
KEYBOARD        : Rakk Lam Ang

HEADSET         : Plantronics RIG 500HD

Kingston Hyper X Stinger

 

and a whole lot of LED everywhere(behind the monitor, behind the desk, behind the shelf of the PC mount and inside the case)

Both available and fairly inexpensive too. Arctic Freezer 34 non duo can be had for £24.99?

though even with that, its good enough for a 2600x

It is the Arctic Freezer 34 eSports version, however the Duo is £34.99.

even with the non duo, its fine but the duo is sightly bit cooler. but if you dont want to spend that much , the non duo is good enough. the duo looks aesthetically more pleasing too. i was gonna buy that but it wasnt available in my country so i went with my overkill CPU cooler found in my sig for like $25.

The non duo is rather cheap at £24.99 yet duo is marked up at £10 more just for the extra fan?

 

Like the idea of using the existing AMD backplate and all black design.

I dont think so. The freezer 34 according to their side is better than the scyte mugen 5  rev b and dark rock 4 so i would assume its better than the slim.

What case and ram are you using?

Are there any particular features you're looking for in a cooler? The DR Slim is very quiet but you can usually get better performing coolers for the price.
