Broken cable causes connection loss with ankle bracelet tracker

A company called Ziggo  Tele2 in the netherlands had a cable break which caused about 450 anke bracelet thingies(whatever you may call them) to lose signal. Uhhhhhhh

 

everybody clap for the dutch government for only using 1 provider. With no backup

 

EDIT: it was tele2. Not ziggo. My bad.

Same when KPN had an interruption, cause the emergency services to be unreachable through the normal numbers. It can happen. One should also consider how often this happens, which to my knowledge is pretty rarely.

Ah yes, Ziggo. One of the worst Dutch ISP's in my anecdotal opinion.
