Bent pin heat up CPU?

I know a bent/damaged motherboard cpu socket pin can maybe not make something function on the motherboard like say a memory dimm. But  my question is can a bent/damaged motherboard cpu socket pin heat up a core or cores of a cpu? (Sorry if it sounds like a silly question)

the only way i could see that happening if it was a pin responsible for sending heat information and its not allowing fans to throttle up anymore
