I would appreciate if someone could help me with my clevo p770zm

What can we help with? ?

Yea, I am not really understanding what you need help with.

Do you want to upgrade your notebook? Or do you want to get a new one?
Full specs of your current laptop, intended use, any preferences (like screen size) and any issues you are running in now are always helpful to know to judge what to get.

You are being extremely vague right here :P

Pro tip: laptops last longer when you don't throw them off a balcony!

Is that the sort of advice you're looking for?

Just keep your Nvidia drivers up to date (assuming you are running Nvidia), keep Windows up to date, make sure you are not running it in a hot environment while not providing plenty air freedom

Windows should download the drivers it needs automatically.

the only driver you should download manually would be the GPU drivers.

Are you experiencing some issue with it that you think is driver related?

pull the tabs on either side of the current ram sticks, lift up the DIMM and pull it out, replace them with the new one

if you know clevo you will be fine but it has some twist and its basically from scratch load! I mean I can run basic windows drivers but that kinda defeats the purpose I'm wanting it to be a bad ass work station

what the hell are you saying??

why do you start each post with the same thing?

The only "drivers" you need are the GPU ones, everything else will download automatically, you can download the Clevo control centre for more control, but that's not a driver, that's just software

so pull out the motherboard, flip it over and put the sticks in if i'm understanding you correctly. i'm not sure what help you want. You seem fairly new to computers or at least to laptops, and given that you literally just bought it, i would suggest returning the RAM if you're not confident enough to pull it apart and sticking with the 16GB.

If you cannot describe your problem or ask for help in a concise and easy to understand way, people are not going to be able to help you.

why do you start each post with the same thing?

I'm a cnc programmer process/mechanical engineer! I have always just got by with my laptop past 3 or 4 years as I advanced jobs more complicated! My laptops struggled! So I started looking and studying! Boxx is in the top of work station PCs! So I found a deal on one! It was a shell of its former self! But the upgrades I bought it should be better than ever
