Case ARGB Fan Question

Hi,

I wanted to get 2 Arctic Prizm 120mm coolers for my new case

but it seems each fan has 4-pin fan connector and 3-pin RGB

connector. I have 2 questions:

- Does that mean I will need to buy a fan controller/hub to connect those fans?

In that case I would be better off buying a pack of 5 fans that includes

fan controller/hub?

- If I connect only 4-pin part and leave 3-pin part hanging, will fan

still work?

Just with the 4 pin connected the fan will operate as normal, just no lights.

If you don't have an argb header on the motherboard or a controller then you will need some sort of hub to control the fans.

I have these fans. It has a standard PWM fan connector and a standard ARGB header. If you have none, you can get a controller but I believe the 3 pack and 5 pack ships with it.

So if im correct, when a mobo has no rgb headers and no hub you get no lights at all or lights with no/limited control?

Can you have a look on this motherboard and let me  know if you see ARGB header there?

The motherboard is Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite.

And if I have say, 3 PWM + ARGB fans, does that mean I will need 3 PWM + 3 ARGB header slots on motherboard?
