SSD compatibility?

Recommended Posts

If it has an M.2 NVMe slot, which it does.

SSD compatibility isn't a thing really like RAM.  You'll be fine.

I can't guarantee anything but I don't see a reason they shouldn't be compatible.  The most likely reason for it being missing from the compatibility list is not that it's incompatible but that they just haven't specifically tested that unit to know for certain one way or another.  This is backed up by the fact they do have validation for the previous model which shouldn't be meaningfully different.

i have the msi b450i gaming plus mobo, and want to buy a new ssd. Does the adata xpg sx8200 pro compatible with it? i've seen the product page here https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B450I-GAMING-PLUS-AC#support-hdd, and it doesnt seem compatible, but is there any chance?

That SSD is an M.2 2280 spec SSD. Your motherboard has an M.2 2280 w/ M-Key slot. They are compatible.
