P30pro vs S10+(exynos) vs Wait for new phones?

Justhavocman

Hello everyone , i'm due an upgrade and i've been looking into the price\performance bracket of the p30pro vs s10+ , i'm now a power user but good battery life is really important for me so i've got my qualms about the exynos s10+ , the p30 pro looks like the best all rounder in that price point ( I could go with the note10+ but same qualms about the exynos). So should i pull the trigger on the p30pr or should i wait for the newer phones in 2020?

What is your current phone?

Exynos  Galaxys since 2017~ are a bit inferior to the Snapdragon version, especially in battery Life.

Samsung's with Exynos are a bit more "averrage", while the P30 Pro has one of the highest battery lifes you can find in a Flaggship.
Don't get me wrong. Battery Life on the S10+ is not utterly Trash like it's on the Pixel 4 (XL), but it's nothing special.

How about some alternatives? Oneplus 7T (Pro) for example.

Otherwise:

Photos:

P30 Pro > S10+ in some cases like night shots.

Videos:

Huawei is pretty much garbage here, S10+ one of the best Android phones. Only beaten really by the iPhones.

Display: Samsung of course.

I'm on a mi 9t but i do some photo work due to my occupation and require a better camera\phone and battery life is up there with the camera as my priorities , the 7t pro has both inferior cameras and battery for me and the 90hz display while nice , won't be much of use to me since i don't game ( plus it's way more expensive).

Why don't you see if you can source a Pixel 3A XL?

I wouldn't get a Huawei phone, nor recommend one, ever. So. That would only leave the Samsung out of those two.

I'm from Europe so Huawei is still a respectable brand name here and given the price\performance it's a contender for my comparison , Huawei released the p30 pro before the "sanctions" so support is not a problem . I'm not a fan of the Pixel 3 aesthetic or it's abysmal battery life.

What do you do with the camera? What about the Mi 9T's camera is not good enough for you?

Stills or video?

With camera held still or while moving?

Subject is still or moving?

Subject size and distance?

Subject illumination and general lighting conditions?

Or just tell me under what scenarios its not good enough for you.

I can't think of an occupation that specifically asks for camera capability out of a phone. Its either not a real occupation or something you are better off ditching.

As for battery life, can you tell us how the Mi 9T is not good enough for you? How much 'more battery life' are you looking for? What is it you do on your phone that is draining most of the battery? Use a power bank or charge the device when it is low?

Please count the number of questions I asked, and the number of answers you gave.

Woah there bud , don't you come off as extremely aggressive and assertive or just plainly rude .

Haha, it doesn't matter where you live. It doesn't change anything about their company.

I didn't say anything about the 3. 3A. Vastly different device, with excellent battery life.
