Switching between displays

I have 2 displays, one that I use for games and one that I use to keep discord open in, How can i get out of my game without using alt+Tab?

Windows Button + Arrow Key down

 

If you're in steam, you can access the overlay and drag your mouse over

 

Or you can just play in windowed fullscreen

The thing is, when I do that, I will open an app on my secondary monitor and it chooses to open it on my monitor with the game on it which makes the game minimize when I try to open the app on the main monitor.

Is there app not already open? Just drag it over?

Is there a way to make it if I have a game open on the main monitor for it to open the app on the other monitor when I'm in game.
