Bottle neck question

Seriously, how noticeable of a bottleneck would it be if I upgrade my GPU to a 2080Ti in my Ryzen 5 2600 PC?

Its currently a GTX1080 and with 16gb 3000Mhz CL15, enough power and pcie to back up the upgrade. Just wondering about the CPU

Edit: for 1440p 144Hz gaming in AAA and early access games

Thanks

If there were to be a bottleneck (which I'm not sure about), I don't think it would be anything very noticeable.

i think its not that kind of bottleneck at ryzen 5 since its a powerful cpu too. but im not pretty sure if you can do 144hz on AAA gaming with it

2080 and 2700x no bottlenecks for me so far

I agree with Arika, really comes down to the game. I play 1440p - Having used my 1080 ti on both Ryzen and 9700K I can say that in most titles you won't get bottlenecked. That said 2080 Ti is a fair bit faster.

Depends what you do.

1080p high refresh like csgo, maybe a slight CPU bottleneck.

Anything else probably well balanced.
