Is it safe?: Using usb extender with my original iPhone charging cable? To make the whole thing 2Meters ??

WolfLoverPro

Will it cause a fire?

Basically in total including the extendtion is 2 meters long.

It should make it slower charging obviously, although I have a 2m cable and this is charging faster lol??? Maybe because it’s official apple maybe idk?

Is it safe doing this or shall I buy another 2m cable instead of using the usb extender cable

also to blend into this lol, what if I put a usb extender into another extender and THEN my iPhone cable >:D i won’t need to just wondering

daisy chain? i think its okay. i think most chargers output like DC 5v at most rated at about .5-3A. I dont think thats enough to cause fire unless you short them out.even then i think its a low risk that happening. at most, you will destroy the charging brick.

Hmmmmmmmm

Maybe it’s the plug then? My charger always has been fine u TIL today. And the cable has no damage like bent so maybe it’s the 2m cable that had wrecked the plug???? The fuse has blow or?

or do you mean using usb extender would damage the plug but not a long cable

no i mean if you accidentally shorted the wires(which only happens if you step on the wire or it has a damage and the wires touched each other) but for safety, just buy a longer wire.
