Posted November 11 · Original PosterOP My toshiba satellite laptop works for about 3 minutes after booting, then shows these kind of colors and completely freezes (these 2 pixel clusters are permanently dead) it has pentium T3200 @ 2ghz, 4gb ddr2 memory and amd radeon mobility 3470hd This laptop works only plugged in, faulty battery, i booted with and without it inserted and same result, is this a faulty gpu or is it display related? No, nothing happens when I am in the bios, is just fine, maybe a driver issue? Posted November 12 Definitely GPU related, probably not the panel. ur local linux fanboy, daily driver of kubuntu non-LTS (no compositing of course). graphical interfaces are for the weak, i am the weak Link to post Share on other sites
