Looking to upgrade my MSI GTX 970 Gaming

GreY2231

Like the title says I am looking to upgrade my MSI GTX 970 Gaming X. I was looking at getting the GTX 980 ti (Also MSI Gaming X) I don't have much for a budget but Userbenchmark shows round about a 58% increase in performance and so. I can get a GTX 980 ti, used, locally for about 190-240€ (Germany)  the GTX 1080 300-350€ and the GTX 1080 ti 450-550€

I plan on keeping my 970 for another build but it goes for 100-150€ used (185€ new)

Is it worth it to upgrade to the GTX 980ti?

My current build is

i5 4690k with cooler master hyper 212 led

GTX 970 MSI Gaming X

16gb DDR3 Gskill Ripjaws 4x4gb

256gb 850 Evo SSD

and a 750w PSU

If possible, upgrading to an even newer GPU like the GTX 1660ti would be beneficial. As it would be roughly the same price as buying a GTX 980ti.

the 1660ti is in the same price range as the 1080 but only for the 1660 ti mini. For the "normal sized" ones they're in the same range as the 1080ti. which is why I am looking at the 980 ti. even the Vega 56 or Vega 64 are in the 300€ range

Have you considered looking at the 5700 (non-XT)? They're under 400 € and will perform similarly or better to the 1660.

My budget is under 200€

I just want to know if the 980ti is worth the upgrade from a 970
