Tier lists for building a PC.

 

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

Gpu tier list. Rtx 3000 and RX 6000 not included since not so many reviews. Tier S for Water cooling. Tier A and B for overcloking. Tier C stock and Tier D avoid.

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)

hey guys, I'm in need of some help again. 

so i bought this psu (Cooler Master MWE 700 White-v2, 700W 80 Plus ATX) to pair with a (MSI RADEON RX 570 ARMOR 8G OC) and Im getting crashes whenever i open something GPU hungry. So my question is, is that a bad psu or do i need to twik the settings on my GPU so it only consumes what i have? 

 

Also, i was looking at this one this morning

(NZXT C650 - NP-C650M-UK - 650 Watt PSU - 80+ Gold)  and if you guys tell me that is going to work i'll send CM back and get the NZXT instead. 

really appreciate any help please.

@Marcelindd2Well, NZXT one is going to be miles better, especially if they have similar price but i don't see why RX570 wouldn't work with CM MWE V2 White. There's always a possibility that the PSU (or the GPU) is faulty but i'm more inclined to driver \ OC instability. Can you test this machine with the different PSU ?

@Juular i did try it with CWT 500W ATX PSU, but no avail.

Also uninstalled all driver and tried fresh win10....still nothing.  

I ran occt to check a few things and it crashes every time it hits around 120/130w. So i really 

dnt know if its the GPU or PSU. no overclocking or third party software either.

I remember you talking about that back before when everything was going sideways about the tier list and the alarmists were all over the place banging their gongs...

 

That was interesting because that video was behind most of the issues from the beginning.. 

 

The problem with taking things at face value instead of looking deeper.

They're the "RM Gray". They fit in single-rail Tier A

@Bomster Either, really. But there's also ADX Power W750 for 20 pounds cheaper that uses the same platform as that Bitfenix unit except for probably cheaper fan or smth, Fractal Design ION+ with reportedly very soft and convenient cables and Corsair RM-x.

Is the difference between Cooler Master MWE V2 Brozne (retails for 83$ at my country) and Gigabyte G750H (retails for 107.5$ at my country) worth paying 25$ extra?

Well, the Gigabyte GH is Tier A while the CM MWE V2 Bronze depends on whether it's 230V only (Tier C) or full range (110-240V/Tier B) The GH is 80+ Gold, so if you are using it for more than a few years, the price difference will pay for itself in terms of lowering your power bill, especially if power is a little expensive in your country.

It also depends on what you are powering. If you get the full range MWE V2 Bronze, it should be enough for a mid-range build.

Thanks, I think I will pick the Gigabyte G750H.

Another question, I saw on pc part picker that Corsair CXM (Tier C) (retails for 87$ at my country) got 5 out of 5 stars by 150 people.

Is the difference between it and the Gigabyte G750H (Tier A) that big?
