@imamon First, DQ-M and DQ-M-V2L are different PSUs. 'WH' one is just white colored.

New Corsair TX is TX-m, there are no other TX-m's, it's also Gold rated while older TX were Bronze.

Thank you for the information.

Considering that we face frequent brown outs in our area, will you recommend TX650m over COOLER MASTER MWE GOLD 650 FULL MODULAR (MPY-6501-AFAAG-UK)? The former costs 10$ more including shipping.

it's an internal revision more than an outside one... the older ones had some 12v voltage drops, which 2020 revisions didn't show

In what tier would my system go? Ryzen 5 3600X, GTX 1070 (might be upgraded to a 2070 Super or 5700XT), Mobo is ASUS TUF X570.

Gosh PSU are getting so expensive 😢 here in Venezuela I need a good psu for my ring:
Ryzen 5 1600
GPU EVGA GTX 1060 6gb acx 3.0
ab350 fatality k4 gaming

My current PSU is a thermaltake 770 from 2009 Tough Power XT bronze 80

And my psu is like dying it shut down the pc, sometimes the light goes red, to mitigate this problem I opened and cleaned with a pencil air blower and it seems to work
but dunno if my games performs like choppy frames rates because of it...

But gosh i''m tired of this hell named (Venezuela)

And in amazon all psu are like 80$+ or more

@LukeSavenije - I'm curious about why the Corsair Gray CX and CXM units are in separate tiers. Are the CXM unis electrically inferior? I thought they were electrically identical but with modular cables.

They're not. They're on two different platforms, despite how close Corsair marketing makes them appear.

Yeah, I ended up getting a CX 450 over a 450M to replace a dying Seasonic unit 4 years past its warranty. Nonmodular cables made management a bitch but it's good to know the better platform is actually cheaper in this case.

sadly not true, I would actually love a modular version of CX, but it's too expensive to make

I'm afraid no, my friend
I need to find a way to buy via amazon or newegg and then find a courier to sent it to Venezuela.

here in Venezuela all important companies/ and phone stores/ computer locals all  leaved this country because this corrupt government.
So you can see some un-official local stores, that have like intel i5 gen 5 over priced... or crazy thing...
So all my options/choices are to buy via Amazon or newegg

Hello, is there really a big difference between a "Seasonic FOCUS GM-650" and a "Seasonic SSR-650FM" ? Both are Gold Certified.

The Focus GM shows as Tier A, right?

But the SSR-650FM? I only see "SSR-GP" in Tier C. So, is the SSR-650FM tier C?

Thanks in advance.

Seasonic's Focus FM and FX are in Tier A "low priority units", mainly because those units had problems with high transient GPUs, like Vega 64s and 1080Tis for example.

Thank you guys. So is it correct to say the "Seasonic SSR-650FM" is the older version? Pre January 2018, that can show issues with 2080 Ti GPUs.

And the "Seasonic FOCUS GM-650" is the new improved version post January 2018 that fixed those issues.

Seasonic official site has the GM published in their main site and here is the PDF:

https://seasonic.com/pub/media/pdf/consumer/datasheet/FOCUS-GM-FM.pdf

When you search in Google, you can also find the SSR version (not published in their main site):

https://seasonic.com/pub/media/pdf/consumer/datasheet/FOCUS-Gold-FM.pdf

Something confussing is New Egg. They show the GM and SSR as the same PSU:
