What are y'all upgrading this holiday season?

What are you guys upgrading?

 

I'm on an upgrade year, so mine are:

Current system -> 2600x/GTX1080

29" LG -> 27" 144hz 1440p

S8 -> OnePlus 7

 

And maaaaybe if I'm really feeling it, a 2014 Audi Q5...

Not really upgrading myself, but going to be re-doing my water loop so I can vertical mount my GPU in my Meshify S2 and moving my 360 rad to front mount and 280 to top.

Haha, water cooling is interesting....but not something I think I'll ever mess with.

I might do some upgrades to my truck's rear suspension set up. Supplement the low tech leafs with some form of anti wrap bars.

I'm coming up to three years with the G900 and that new Razer Viper Ultimate looks tasty but it's harder to justify than a new monitor. I wanna go from 24 inch 1080p 144hz to 27inch 1440p 144hz. There is a small white spot where my monitor got damaged and I mostly don't notice it but it's still annoying, all the more reason for that being my next upgrade

I have been thinking about a new GPU for a bit now. The 2070S or 5700XT are both looking quite compelling.

Some time ago I was thinking about a CPU and motherboard upgrade too, but the more I think about that one, the less I am thinking I actually need it.

 

A new mouse would be nice too, kind of tired of my current one..

Do you like Borderlands or have any interested in Outer Worlds? They're free with a 3700x (well, one). Might be worth picking up that CPU if it gets a decent discount during Black Friday...could even be a near free upgrade if you factor in the value of the game, sell the cooler, and your old kit

I'm... not sure yet. I already upgraded my monitor from a 1080p Samsung TV to a big ass 2560x1600 Dell monitor, but I'd like to get my hands on an NVMe SSD and a 4TB hard drive.

Not sure about the US, but in Canada 4TB drives always go suuuuper cheap on Black Friday. Like $50US (equiv).

It's well reviewed, lightweight wireless mouse that reviewers seem to be preferring the shape of in comparison to the G Pro Wireless, the only other competitor in the Ultra lightweight Wireless gaming mouse space. It's a hefty price tag and I know people have their quarrels with Razers QC but I've never had an issue with previous razer products I owned, don't really like synapse but you don't have to use it (Unless you want custom RGB)

I see. I'm the opposite, I like a heavy mouse, but I've been thinking about getting some new ones as well. I really want a MX Master again, and the 2s fixed a lot of the issues I had with the original so I'll probably pick up a 3. I wouldn't mind a wireless gaming mouse, but I'd have to find one that fit the bill...I love the Thermaltake Level 10M, however they're quite hard to find.

Custom building a case, keyboard for my first hackintosh build. Have a NAS build and carputer build that I may or may not get to this year, as well.

 

Also need snow tires on my Fiata this winter, going to use that as an excuse to get a nice set of wheels, too.

Given the amount of shooters I play at low sensitivity it's important to have a light mouse. People do say there are diminishing returns but that seems to be at about 80g of weight. But weight isn't much of an issue if you're not kinda hardcore about precise aim in FPS.

You might be interested in Dave Lees review where as a professional he chooses the Viper Ultimate over the MX Master Mice because he likes the precision of the sensor. But if you like heavy mice it's probably not the choice.

I want to get rid of my Asrock motherboard, as I found out recently the top PCIex16 slot is broken. Still on the fence on whether to get the Tomahawk MAX or a X570 like the Asus Prime.

 

Or I might just buy the RX5700 instead.

Right now looking at upgrading my monitor to 1440p 144hz been running 1080p 60hz for too long. Especially since i just bout myself a 2080TI. then im still on the fence, but i'm looking at upgrading from an 8700k to a 9900k not really sure if that's a worth while jump. Maybe i'll just wait for the new 10th gen and jump to 10 or even 12 cores.

I'm probably going to upgrade my CPU, motherboard, HDD and RAM. I'm also thinking of upgrading my SSD and PSU.
