B450 tomahawk Ethernet not being detected

I just built a pc with an MSI b450 tomahawk and everything was working well except the Ethernet plug. There was a green light that flashed for a sec then no more lights. The cable was confirmed working with an Xbox but I don’t know what could be causing this. Please help!

Do you download the driver from MSI website

I see the latest driver was released on 30 July. Maybe you have an older driver.
