Trying to get my i7 6700k to 5GHZ

Hey guys,I have been trying to get my i7 6700k to 5GHZ but I'm stuck at 4.8GHZ it just doesn't wanan go up every time I try 4.9 it crashes in a stress test I have It delidded and at 4.8 with 1.340 and cache at 4.5 and with my cooling solution it does't go above 70-75 degrees celcius.Does anyone have any advice for me? I dont really care that much about performace I just want to get there.(btw in the photo the cpu is under stress)(For the validation:https://valid.x86.fr/spdhjp)

Thanks!

You probably lost the silicon lottery. Maybe if you push crazyhigh voltage you’ll get there but most probably will damage the chip.

Go with dry ice cooling then

For Skylake 5GHz is already the top 0.1% of CPUs under ambient cooling. Just because it's 14nm like 9th gen doesn't mean all 14nm are built equal

Skylake was never a "5 GHz" CPU. At least, not with any sane cooling. Air might get you to 4.7-ish but overcoming the wall to gain another 300 MHz is going to require a lot of voltage and a lot of cooling. Ambient water isn't going to cut it, and I have my doubts chilled water would be enough. If you're going more extreme than that, good luck to you. At that point you might as well consider swapping it with a 7700k which at least had some hitting 5.0 GHz.

Main system: i9-7980XE, Asus X299 TUF mark 2, Noctua D15, Corsair Vengeance Pro 3200 3x 16GB 2R, RTX 3070, NZXT E850, GameMax Abyss, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB, Acer Predator XB241YU 24" 1440p 144Hz G-Sync + HP LP2475w 24" 1200p 60Hz wide gamut
Gaming laptop: Lenovo Legion 5, 5800H, RTX 3070, Kingston DDR4 3200C22 2x16GB 2Rx8, Kingston Fury Renegade 1TB + Crucial P1 1TB SSD, 165 Hz IPS 1080p G-Sync Compatible
