Is a display/hdmi cable worth it? [ANSWERED]

Hi, I have a display port out on my RTX 2060, but my monitor only has vga and hdmi, it is worth getting a display port to hdmi cable if I already have an hdmi cable that works just fine?

 

My monitor is 1080p 60 hz, if that changes anything.

Dont all 2060 at least have 1 HDMI output?

There would be 0 difference from just using your HDMI cable.

You will not see any noticeable improvement between displayport and hdmi.

Yes they do, I was asking if it was worth changing to using the displayport with an hdmi adaptor for the monitor, or just keeping my current setup of using the hdmi port on the card.

just keep it on HDMI port of the card. DP is basically next gen HDMI today, apart from adaptive sync support (Nvidia cards only support that through DP, AMD cards can use DP or HDMI)
