Should I see the difference?

gloop

Hello forums!

I’ve decided that I’ll run 1x 4K 27inch monitor and 2x1080p 27inch monitors for my game dev setup. I’m wondering will I see much of a difference between 1080 and 4K. The 4K is used for colour accuracy, the 1080s for normal tasks.

thanks!

Yes, but just make sure you buy an IPS display and check some reviews to make sure this particular display is color accurate.

Yes but remember that the biggest difference visually when using games as an example is down to render resolution. More so when AA , (especially crap AA like FXAA and TAA) isnt being used.

The difference between a 1080p display displaying a 4k rendered game

and a 4k display displaying a 4k rendered game is much less significant.

If you realy want see a difference and use a Pro Display, not just a Gaming Display, you have to reach deep down your wallet.
