RX5700XT or RTX 2060 Super

MK29

So I don't now what graphics card I should choose, because I know that the XT is in most games faster, but the price for a good RTX custom card is cheaper. Also it has Raytracing, even tough I wouldn't use it, it's a nice feature. Also the RTX often only uses an 8-pin. Furthermore, my GPU should be maximized the size of 117mm×250mm and 2 slots.

First off, the RTX feature is effectively useless on anything less powerful than a 2080, as framerates are unplayable.

The only 2 things the 2060 Super has that's "better" than the 5700 XT, are NVENC and some non-games having better support. The 5700 XT completely outperforms the 2060 Super for performance in every way, even without overclocking.

It depends on the resolution/rr. If you're playing AAA High at 1440p144, go with the XT. If you're playing 1080p144, go 2060S.

I only just got my 5700XT and a Ryzen 2600. They seem to be a good match although I havnt played many games yet. You get a free game with AMD. I also have a 550W PSU. Mines about three years old so I ordered a new one with more power output.

the RX 5700 XT is a way better buy, but make sure you have the proper connections.

I know my Strix has dual 8-pin power connections.
