i think i might have screwed up.. then got lucky..

the pic below is of two panels.. the AUO panel is what an ebay buyer purchased from me.. the samsung panel is what i accidentally sent them.. in comparing the specs, they look identical in every way damn near. same bezel sizes, same connectors, same panel type, same input voltages, etc..

they ordered the AUO, so would that samsung panel work in a monitor that is supposed to have the AUO panel?

i already messaged him and told him i would send him the correct one free of charge and told him he did not have to send me back the one i sent on accident.. But i want to make sure hes not gonna burn his house down by plugging in the samsung panel to the AUO boards..

any help asap would be very much appreciated.

He might not have brightness control or other stuff... Other than that, I think everything else should be fine, unless their display controller is programmed purely for AUO panel.
