X570 fan block

Hi all!

Quick question,

I have an Asus Gaming Tuf Wifi x570 motherboard

Like most x570 motherboards, the board has a fan for the chipset

My 2060 super FE covers about half the fan with little clearance between the 2

Is this an issue?? Its not covered completely but it I am concerned it is hindering its cooling.

Anyone else have this issue?

Hi all!

Doesn't really matter, it's not even going to be under a real load most of the time.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

It will be fine.

The fan is most of the time not needed, the chipset only heats too much if you use pci-e 4.0 devices and you do lots of transfers continuously. For most regular people, the fan will constantly work at very low speed so if you partially obstruct the fan worst case scenario you'll see fan spinning a bit more.
