What size of drive bay is needed for SSD?

SSDs typically use a 2.5" drive bay.  Both cases have at least one of those.

If needed, there are plenty of simple 2.5" to 3.5" adapters available.

Please, can someone tell me if those cases are compatible with SSD?

Probably I must look at drive bays sizes, but I don't know which size is suitable for SSD.

I'm buying SSD for my mother, but she has very old, cheap case that has only HDD suitable drive bays and seems like I will need to buy case too, so I'm trying to find cases in local stores online with that has SSD support drive bay size.
