Try setting it and upping the voltage to 1.4V

I think the incorrect slot wouldnt even boot the pc. Try though rearranging the slots you never know. Even exchange positions of the dimms. If that doesnto change a thing. Try looking for bios update. is it the latest? the last thing to do is find out the timmings and set them manually. use 1.35V thats the setting stated by trident.

Did you change anythign else or only installed memory?

As in Asrock B450 Pro4? Yeah good luck with running 3200Mhz on this motherboard I guess

I don't know whether just mine (mATX version) being a dodgy unit but it won't POST with 3000Mhz for me and while with 3200Mhz it did but kept crashing in my games

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600  Heatsink: ID-Cooling Frostflow X GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 Mini 6GB RAM: KLEVV Bolt 3600Mhz (2x8GB) Mobo: ASUS B550-F ROG Strix (Wifi)  Case: Fractal Design Meshify C PSU: Deepcool DQ-M-V2L

Probably don't want to push it any high unless you start going for extreme overclocks, but I'm not sure what the safe upper limit for long term use of DDR is.

Probably just drop it to 3000mhz with 1.4V next then

Only X570 boards I'd really look at are the TUF and Gigabyte Elite at $199 ish, unless you need built in 5/10 gigabit

Fair enough! You might be able to push a bit more AC oc on 1.2. I am running 3700x 1.2435v  @ 4175mhz. It crashes on stress tests @ 1.2435, but for daily usage it's just fine. Temps and consumption is amazing too! max 94W under Cinebench r20 and 62-63C temps.
