Aio advice - LC Castle vs Kraken

Hello, would there be a big difference between Deepcool cooling LC Castle 280RGB  and NZXT Kraken x62  in terms of performance and noise ? I know kraken is better but how much ? I would use it to cool 9900K. I really like how the pump Deepcool LC Castle look. Thanks

How do you know the Kraken is better?  If you read that it is, usually that would have a quantitative analysis of why.

Any reason why you're only looking at those two?

 

Generally speaking, any significant difference in performance between two AIOs of the same size will be down to thermal paste and fans. Most of the cpu blocks, pumps and rads are literally made by the same company (asetek) and even those that aren't rarely offer anything different in terms of materials or specs.

Personally I'd stay away from the Kraken for the sole reason of NZXT relentlessly pushing CAM, which kinda sucks and is probably spyware. I'd pick one with an ARGB connector over one with a USB connector any time.

Whats the reasoning ur using for getting an AIO in the 1st place ?
