Alienware 14 black screen but lights turn on; not booting to bios

So recently I had bought an older Alienware to restore as it was missing a few parts(battery, charger, hdd, optical drive) and I bought it as per seller saying it booted into the bios but did not contain a hard drive to further boot. I received the package and a charger not used by the seller and attempted to boot to the bios using the same ram the seller claims to have used when selling the laptop. After reseating the ram multiple different times I still get the same problem that it turns on, all lights light up, but no splash screen and it just beeps twice before repeating. I have been told that this is a ram problem but I am looking for solutions for how to fix this so that I might be able to boot without buying a new motherboard.

well at least you have a beep code so some of the board is actually working enough.

I'd try different ram to be honest. a lower amount of ram will still allow it to post if you just want to buy a cheapo 2$ stick from someone

I have tried with both sticks the seller sent as well as one of my own.

How would I tell as it to be a dead gpu rather than the ram as the bios beeps twice?

The beep code registers as a ram failure but the sticks I’ve used aren’t working and I’ve tried 3 it might end up being a socket problem
