Its a Weapon who shot in any direction when it get hot. During the initial test the Military Stuff claim that but the bought them even because the German Weapon Manufacture had an office in the Barracks there.

So because the refuse to buy good Austrian Quality stuff...

Sort of haha I have a toughbook cf-52 and a cf-50. While they're very modular as far as repairs go they're not upgradable to the extent this is.

Still it’s a toughbook and I am thinking about getting a toughtbook

Yes it is that and I've had a few over the years. I can vouch for their durability and reliability.

Depends on what your use case is though, they're generally not great for gaming as most don't have dedicated GPUs, only integrated. For actual work though you can't go wrong.

not gaming, more like light photo editing in the field , general tasks and when I get a car or get into racing a way to tune the car

Express card slot (the successor to PCMCIA slot). Does this have Thunderbolt to support eGPUs? If not, an IO module to get that port!

Max batteries.

I love Toughbooks. I remember my CF-28, a Pentium 3 fully rugged model. Awesome design. My first modular laptop was a Dell Latitude LM Pentium 1. Had 1 or 2 modular bays. Could swap in and out a CD-ROM, or floppy or second battery. And, had a nifty Infrared port to wireless print for free as a High School student ;)
