No Stories on Instagram

My friend have a Asus Zenfone 2, and always when he is going to watch a stories and sometimes the normal videos, it plays the sound but the image doesn't play. What could it be?

Images don't play. Either the phone is not able to decode the codecs or the App is at fault.

  1. Clear the data and cache data of the phone
  2. Try installing a beta version of Instagram from Apk Mirror
