Media Server: Win 7 to 10?

Video Beagle

Please read the full sitch before reflexively responding.

I have a Windows PC running Windows 7 that's only job is to run iTunes to feed local files of music and movies to my Apple TV's and to run caliber for a book server. Other than updates for those two programs, it doesn't go outside my home network.

With that info, knowing that Windows 7 will not be getting security updates, is it worth bothering updating to 10?

I wouldn't be overly concerned about it.

Would upgrading be recommended? Yes.

Would it be detrimental if you don't? Probably not.

Would Windows 10 break one of the programs you use or refuse to run correctly at all? Possibly.

I think you're fine.

I appreciate the input.  That it's running well as is is that strong "don't mess with it" anti-motivator :D
