Case recommendation

Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

Can you link to any other shops? Selection seems to be pretty limited.

If you're limited to this shop, I'd recommend a P350X. You can reuse your current case fan for rear exhaust.

Hello guys!

I would like to get a case recommendation. There are far too many options in the market and I'm not sure where the sweet spot is. I have a budget of around 80ish USD (in my local currency it would be ~ 50000 CRC). I'm looking for a mid sized case with a good room for cable management, good airflow and decent looks. I will be shopping at my local store, not Amazon. I would like to know which one of the listed cases would you guys choose. I'm currently stuck with a Thermaltake V3 Black Edition which is pretty subpart.

Page is in Spanish but you can clearly see the model and price:

Eventhough I could go as much as 80 USD, I'm looking for expending just as much as necesary

What's subpar about your current case? What features are you looking for?

System specs?

It has very little space for cable management. No USB 3 at the front. Looks dated. Airflow is meh. You could say the case is ok in general but sometimes it's very diffcult to work with it so I want an upgrade.

I mostly care about price/performance. I'd like enough room to hide the cables, good arflow, nice materials... basically a good all rounder. Looks are not top priority but it would be nice if it doesn't look ugly.

My system is very modest at the moment but I might upgrade to a Ryzen build in the future:

i5 4460 (stock cooler)

Asus board micro ATX

16 GB DDR3

RX 570 4GB

2 TB HDD

160 GB SSD

500W System Power U9 PSU

NZXT have recently replaced their H500/H500i with the new H510 case.

Most stores in my country were selling the older cases with some good discounts so that may be an idea.

But tbh you arn't gonna find any great cases under 80usd.

The Corsair Carbide 270R looks alright though

The above suggested P350x is also a very good case.

I tend to prefer the mentioned store because they have better prices most of the time. Here is the other local store: https://www.intelec.co.cr/pcgaming/case

I have another 120mm that I added to my actual case so I could add 2 to the new one

Yeah, I don't see anything better on that site.

An extra fan helps though.
