Planing my first build

SnarklyDuck

Hi. So I'm planning to make a mid-range PC, this would be my very first build ever. Here's what I've come up with:

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($118.00 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock B450M PRO4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($69.89 @ OutletPC)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory  ($77.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6 GB XC ULTRA GAMING Video Card  ($299.99 @ Amazon)
Case: NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($69.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Corsair CX (2017) 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($64.99 @ Amazon)
Monitor: AOC G2590PX 24.5" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor
Total: $700.85
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

In my country (Latvia) there's quite a limited pool of parts from which to pick (At least in the online store I trust). Here's how the list looks with the prices available for me:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4GHz (136.89 EUR)

Motherboard: ASRock B450M PRO4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (87.41 EUR)

Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory (91.40 EUR)

Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500 GB 2.5" SSD (91.99 EUR)

Video card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6 GB XC ULTRA GAMING Video Card (334.32 EUR)

Case: NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case (82.12 EUR)

Power supply: Corsair CX 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (71.68 EUR)

Monitor: AOC G2590PX 24.5" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor (199.00 EUR)

Total 1094.81 EUR

I was thinking to get Ryzen 5 3600, but that costs 210.92 EUR and the cheapest x570 motherboard (Gigabyte X570 UD) is 165.82 , which makes the price jump up by 152.43 EUR in total. I've read that b450 should be fine, but I've also heard that you can't get the most out of the CPU without x570.

As for GPUs, there's basically no options for Vega 56 (There's one which costs 490.00) and RTX 2060 starts at 360 EUR (For this) and ends at 580 (For this)

I was torn about the 1660 TI or this RX 5700  that goes for 380EUR (Cheapest one available) which I'd be willing to spend extra on, but then the question is if it will be bottlenecked by the Ryzen 5 2600?

Tl;dr Should I better pick RX 5700 that costs 45EUR more than the 1660 TI and if I do should I upgrade the CPU to Ryzen 5 3600 in case 2600 will be a bottleneck. And if I do go for 3600 should I switch the motherboard?

PS: I would be fine with spending 120EUR more on RX 5700 and Ryzen 5 3600 and like 30 to get a better motherboard.

Here's the store I'm going to use (There's no option to change the site language, but it's pretty straight forward): https://www.1a.lv/datoru_komponentes_tikla_produkti

Thanks in advance for any feedback~!

Thank you for the replies @Genwyn and @Firewrath9

I put in the micro ATX version of the motherboard by mistake. And good advice for the SSD, for 15eur more I can get a Crucial 1TB instead of the Samsung 500GB one.

Here's an updated list, with which I'll probably go:

Storage: Crucial MX500 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($107.89 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: MSI Radeon RX 5700 8 GB Video Card  ($349.99 @ Amazon)
Case: NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($69.99 @ Amazon)

Go for MSI B450 micro board like

b450m gaming plus

B450m-a pro

Ram find some b-die ones with 3200 MHz example g.skill F4-3200C15D-16GVK

PSU if they are available in Latvia go for SilentiumPC Vero M2

Same goes for case SilentiumPC got a few nice ones.

You could look for Polish shop that will deliver to Latvia (both in EU, not that far away from each other) - recently I built a ryzen 5 3600 / rtx 2060 super gigabyte gaming oc system for around 970 EUR (but without monitor).

Ryzen 5 3600 || Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 2060 Super || B450A-PRO || G.SKILL Ripjaws 3200MHz CL15 2x8GB

I thought that there's no real noticeable difference in 3000Mhz and 3200Mhz RAM, plus those ripjaws cost like 50e more than the Vengeance. I could swap the RAM for Vengeance LPX 16GB 3200MHz for 10 eur more tho.

As for that PSU, that particular one isn't available.

EDIT: I didn't know what b-die is, just googled it. Does it make really that big of a difference to spend 50eur more on it?

So I'm now in a bit of a dillema. I'm pretty sure that this would run AAA games on 1440p at 60-ish fps, right?

So I dunno what screen should I get. 1440p with 144mhz or 75MHz or with just 60? I've never seen either a 1440p monitor nor one running 144MHz.

I'm planning on playing both AAA titles and esports games by the way.

Basically the question would be are all those MHz that important to spend extra on?

Spoiler

Very little difference. It would be a concern if the price margin was much lower and you ran very memory intensive programs.

If they price difference is so big then no point in b-die. But faster ram for ryzen is always better.

Edit: sorry thought that you were going with ryzen 5 3600 for which there is a noticeable difference. Not sure with 2nd gen

yep, thats the non-xt 5700, they look very similar/ same

The XT version isn't available for me, so RX 5700 will do. It's a powerful card as well.

So last order of business would be the screen. From what I read around, I don't need a high refresh rate screen if I'm not going to play a lot of competetive shooters, right?

imo the diff is about 110 vs 120 fps and you have 2 bios to play with

(flash 5700xt bios to non xt)
