Quality monitor for very high end system

All,

 

    I currently have a Intel i9 9900 running on the msi godlike system board with 16gb a 512g m.2 drive with a 2tb hybrid drive as my secondary. For video I'm running the msi RTX 2080 and I would like to know what is the best and/or most cost effective widescreen monitor for mostly gaming. Any advice would be great.  I am currently looking at the Samsung chg90 monitor but if there is something better for about the same cost please let me know.

With a 2080 I would suggest a 1440p monitor be it 16:9 or 21:9, or even a 1080p 32:9

i would not suggest a 4k monitor.

 

The CHG90 is good choice but do understand that because its VA, while it is 144hz, in dark scenes the pixels wont keep up with 144hz and ull get some ghosting.
