FM2+ support ddr4? or 16gb ddr3 dimms coming?

So I stumbled across this on newegg. It's a board that supports 64gb of memory, but only has 4 slots for memory. Does this mean that fm2+ will support ddr4? Or that we have 16gb dimms of ddr3 on the way? what do you guys think?

Well since it says DDR3 then it would take 16GB DDR3 modules (there are a few around) DDR4 is an entirely different specification which i very much doubt is has implementations in current boards in a way which is forwards compatible :P

The Macpro uses 16GB DDR3 modules, they exist, normally just ECC, but no, it will not support DDR4 on that mobo, it's for future proofing.

I think you mean a single modules of 16GB RAM, I have not seen those around yet, but there are currently a pair of 8GB modules to achieve 16GB RAM

DDR4 will have different amount of pins and thus a different socket.
