Not if you have to replace the motherboard and chassis it isn't.  :(

Bought an old dell on eBay with a seasonic psu. Only problem? Motherboard has 4 pin and 6 pin PSU connectors and I only have 4 pin and 24. Any help would be appreciated

check if the case uses motherboard standoffs that are standard spacing, then find a super cheap H81 or B95 board on eBay. What model dell?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I don't have much time, but either an adapter exists for this and you must use google-fu to find it, or you need to look at the power diagrams and rewire it.  Or get an OEM PSU that is meant for that board

Workstation Laptop: Dell Precision 7540, Xeon E-2276M, 32gb DDR4, Quadro T2000 GPU, 4k display

The 3020 mini tower uses a standard motherboard so the cheapest micro ATX board you can find for LGA 1150 would work for you.

But an adapter is cheaper right? Don't want to spend $13 to make a $30 PSU work.

Why did you buy the Dell in the first place without researching first?  :(  :(  :(

Adapters really suck. They have a notably higher failure rate. Last thing you need is a burned out jumper.

Exactly why I don't really want to replace it. Are adapters really that bad? Or do I risk burning the entire system out? Was really hoping to slot in this 470 and put it back on the market. Sell it as an office machine as is and call it a day?
