I have both my main system (i5-8600k, 32GB RAM, RTX 2070), and file server (2008 Mac Pro, 2x X5375 Xeon, 20GB RAM, 8800GT) folding at full power for the LTT team! It isn't much, but I hope every bit helps!

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

I find if I type in the site (client.foldingathome.org) manually into the address bar, it works

Use the Advanced controller, it is a lot better.

 

right click the F&H icon on the bottom left and select advanced viewer.

Either one should be acceptable. The official folding@home.org updates more frequently than XOC, but XOC has historic values, graphs and comparison charts.

That's why I was asking, it took quite a few hours for my user to appear on exoverclocking, but I folded 10 years ago and folding had my stats from then. Now it shows on both, thanks.

I read in a post above that it will usually take until you finish your first Work Unit to have your username appear within the team. What if it says it will take 20 days to complete?

Update: My project updated and now it says it will only be about 1.5 days, so hopefully my name gets registered soon in time to sign up.

@jakkuh_t Is there a possibility for you to publish a list with all members wich are properly entered in the draw? Kinda like they are doing for the Community contest. Would be nice to know if everything is fine and were really entered in the competition.

I'm in a rental where I don't pay extra for utilities, so that's why I've put it to low for now.  Thinking about trying to measure the power draw somehow so I can work out the costs and just add extra on to the rent cheque for the month.
