Should i invest in a tablet for college?

Hi, i just started out college im in eletrotecnical engineering and i noticed im going to need something that i can pull out of my backpack and program with.
 

Im looking for something with Windows but not high-end.

I got a ps5 and a pc pretty ballin

It depends, an iPad is compatible with the Apple Pencil which will be very useful in classes where you might have to take notes that you normally would not be able to just type out. I have had many classes like that.
