You pay $1000 dollars to get 144hz 175hz Nano IPS WTF!

Turtle Rig

There is the sick LG 38" IPS WQHD 60hz for about 1000 dollars. The upcoming 38" Nano IPS 1ms 144hz OCed to 175hz is 2000 dollars.  Is it worth 1000 dollars for 144hz and 175hz with HDR400 and Nano IPS display ?

I don't wanna get this then couple month from now a 4k 21:9 comes out or something.

I have the 38" 60Hz (running at 75Hz) and the "5K" 60 34" from LG.

They're both nice.

Considering for that price you can get an hdr1000 display I would say it is not even close to worth spending that on an hdr400 monitor

I can't wait until HDR takes off on PC. It is the best thing to happen to video since colour tvs

Hey Viper is a particular reason why these PC displays are having trouble with HDR and can't do HDR1000 except for the Samsung 49" CRG9  ..... But that is a nasty monitor its a freakin tennis match lol and the vertical sux on it.
