Dead pixels tool

Need to check out a new Dell 27in monitor for dead pixels(if any).

 

Can someone recommend a tool that may help please?

Keep in mind - from my experience - if you have dead pixels, they may show up right away, but more often than not; they show up after a couple hours of use.

Try the test linked above (which I would recommend too) after a couple days too.

Honestly u can do it without downloading a program.

Just load up MSpaint, create 5 single color images. red, green, blue, white, black.

 

Save them in the same folder. Then open them in windows image viewer, enter 'display slideshow , pause and cycle through them.

 

'Black' is to check for 'stuck' pixels.
