Two ISPs Trafic controlling

MaTy

Hello,

Can I use via #2 ISP only specific applications like games and through #1 ISP rest of apps?

My vision is something like this: Discord is using #1 ISP, game (PUBG) is using #2 ISP, and my browser is using #1 ISP.

My #2 ISP is more stable for gaming than #1.

Thank you and sorry for my bad english :) .

If your router supports dual WAN (from factory or with OpenWRT), you can try and say it that some IP addresses should come via WAN port #1, others - via #2.

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.

Yes but the problem start when both use some the same Cloud Server Provider. When you have 2 different IP Adress that could make some trouble.

If there are different Clients you can manage it with Rules.

You can use the ATP for: https://www.zyxel.com/de/de/products_services/smb-security_firewalls.shtml?t=c

I have one for Home Use to.

Not an expert but they do make Dual WAN routers. And what your talking about is load balancing. Im not sure how to direct specific traffic to an ISP. That would be for someone else to comment on. Id assume maybe VLAN's need to be involved. All I know, is your going to need much more advanced networking hardware than an average consumer normally buys to make this happen.

Linus is not the average just be be clear. Average consumer gear would be shit you pick up at Walmart. NONE of that will have advanced features needed to do this.

The OP will need Enterprise gear and or some type of PFsense box. And SHIT loads of networking expertise.

Enterprise is done with BGP. With load balancing you can do static PBR (Policy-based Routing) or stateful where flows are balanced, which is what a load balancer does. Real load balancer just cause a lot of random problems.

My last place I worked had their switches in multi-tenent buildings. Switch wise they are super simple and reliable at L2,

Im stuck on the fact you dont know what Walmart is. Realy???? You trolling me?

Not only are they one of the largest retailers in the US, but they have a presence in 26 countries across the world. They are probably only one of the few retailers who might be able to compete with Amazon.
