BitFenix Formula 550W or be quiet! Pure Power 11 500W?

ZBVirus24

I am planning on buying a rig (3600 + rx 5700 xt) and would like to know which one of these PSUs will is prefered for me (1000$ budget):

be quiet! Pure Power 11 500W 80+ Gold: https://www.amazon.com/quiet-Pure-Power-BN626-Supply/dp/B07PL3LH4P/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=be%2Bquiet%2Bpure%2Bpower&qid=1565454294&s=gateway&sr=8-1&th=1

BitFenix Formula 80 Plus Gold 550W: https://www.amazon.com/BitFenix-Formula-Standard-BF-550G-BP-FM550ULAG-7R/dp/B0776YX8F1/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=bitfenix+formula+power+supply&qid=1565456502&s=electronics&sr=1-1

They are both around the same price for me...

ANY help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thx in advance! :)

Pure power 11, being an upgraded raider II iirc, is worse than the  Corsair CX. Corsair CX is similar to base CWT GPS, and Formula is a heavily upgraded GPS. You can figure it out from there.

The Be Quiet will make no noise, which Im not sure about the audible on the BitFenix and what not.  Also I believe Be Quiet has a better warranty and what not.  You use about 140watts idle ok desktop and gaming doesn't even hit 400watts so the 500w PSU would suffice and what not.

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4500 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1866 & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface / KRK Rokits 10" / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse & G915 Linear & G935 & C920 / SL 88 Grand / Cakewalk / NF-A14 Int P12 Ex
AOC 40" 4k Curved / LG 55" OLED C9 120hz / LaCie Porsche Design 2TB & 500GB / Samsung 950 Pro 500GB / 850 Pro 500GB / Crucial m4 500GB / Asus M.2 Card

yeah I know  the 500W wont be an issue. And honestly I am gonna be wearing a headset. So... I think BitFenix is better for me, or isn't it?

Well the PSU isn't going to get that loud when your gaming.  The noise is the video card fans lol

Easily the Formula. It's a nicer, higher end PSU.

I'm inclined to agree.  BitFenix is an intriguing PSU

careful not to confuse the Dark Power Pro 11 and Straight Power 11 with the Pure Power 11... the latter is indeed beQuiet! lowest end PSU and in this case indeed worse than the Formula

The Pure Power 11 is not BeQuiet's lowest end PSU. The System Power 9 (and U9) are BeQuiet's budget PSU offerings.

https://www.bequiet.com/en/powersupply

You can't compare PSUs from different companies based on where they sit in their respective companies product stacks.

As far as I know the Formula and Whisper M are the only models of PSU currently in production for Bitfenix. Technically that means that the Formula is Bitfenix's lowest end PSU...

BitFenix isn't lowest end series from BitFenix, that's BPA, not that it matters...

Anyhow, Formula Gold is better in almost anyway except the fan.

I'm sorry, I meant to say one of the lower end ones, I do not compare PSU by what they are place on their brands we all know deeper than that though always great to bring it up, thank you for the pointing out.

I'll particularly refrain from doing a random reply mid sleep as it affects greatly the standard of my replies, cheers.
