DualShock 4 BT Connection problem

OddityZero

So I’ve been nodding Skyrim for a while, and I wanted to play it on a controller after playing for years on a mouse. DS4WINDOWS set up fine, no problems with that, and then I tried to connect my DualShock 4 via Bluetooth, and when I did it would show up as “wireless controller” I clicked on it, and it says connecting... and then after 3 minutes it either says “controller won’t respond” or “can’t connect.” It works fine usb, works fine with the ps4, it only doesn’t work with the pc. I have no idea why. If tried updating drivers, deleting drivers, restarting, all the things. I have no idea how to fix it.

Is your Bluetooth version 4.0?
(Also make sure you dont have anything that uses joystick input running, altho that wont give this issue).

edit: afaik only way to check BT version is manufacterer info.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Yeah both the switch pro and my ds4 work with my laptop but nothing works for my computer, neither controller. I have no idea what the problem could be.
