Emergency. My D: drive is GONE

My D drive all of a sudden wont show. I went into disk manager to take a look and it says "A device which does not exist was specified".

 

I have no clue what to do please help.

Check the SATA/SATA power cables, maybe one just came loose.  Does it show up in BIOS?

why no dark mode?

Check SMART chart - this is a symptom of imminent Hard Drive failure

I dont know how to access BIOS my pc boots past it way before my monitor even turns on. Also I cant get inside my PC very easily as it is a Corsair One

What model of drive? Look on the sticker on the drive.

 

Look at your motherboard manual to see what key to hold during bootup.

Every drive has an internal SMART chart - use HD Tune or HD Sentinel to view it

Okay, the drive has reappeared and is no longer saying that it "doesnt exist". However Im installing Borderlands 3 atm and it hasn't shown any data for "reading" only "writing" and im 7gb through. Should I use that a sign that somethings wrong?

Check your drive's SMART diagnostics using software such as CrystalDisk Info or HD Tune, and be sure you have a backup of data you cannot replicate.
