Posted September 12, 2019 FF on all devices but my laptop where I use chrome as I can't be bothered to move the tabs over into FF as I rarely use it. FF is great, a little slower on the phone but having extensions more than makes up for that. The content blocking and anti tracking is also really nice to have I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays... nothing, it just sits there collecting dust... Builds: The Toaster Project! Northern Bee! The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0) Spoiler "Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life. #1. Treat others as you would like to be treated. #2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt. #3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place. Follow these simple rules in life, and I promise you, things magically get easier. Posted September 12, 2019 I started using Netscape navigator, moved to IE, then to firefox for a long time, even after chrome was released, but then FF started memory leaking...the day I said "enough is enough" was when I had 3 tabs open and FF was using 5GBs of memory...bear in mind that having 16GB was seen as "alot" back then that was insane. I switched to chrome because of that and have been happy with it since. It's got it's memory use problems now as well, but the machines are so much more powerful that it isn't an issue anymore so I am sticking with chrome. Posted September 12, 2019 I use Firefox on all my devices. On the desktop, I started using it because my old 6600k was having problems with playing games and watching streams at the same time and Firefox was a bit less demanding. Nowadays I just use it because I like it a lot more. As for my phone, I don't know if it's just me but, chromium based browsers seem pretty buggy compared to Firefox.
