3700X with 5700XT or 3600 with RTX 2080

SO if i were to build a pc right now for basically purely gaming with streaming on the side what do you think the best option would be?

 

A Ryzen 5 3600 CPU with a RTX 2080 or a Ryzen 7 3700X with a 5700XT/ 2070 Super.

 

I was just messing around with prices and in australia i can get a Ryzen 7 3700X with a 5700XT for around 2000$ or i can get 3600 with 2080 for around 2000$-2300$ what do you think would be better, obviously the price varies depending on all parts that go with it so if you want too build one too show it being even cheaper id be happy too have a look  

 

I new too pc and building and i was intrigued by this due to RTX 2080 being known more and i feel the general audience if given choice would go for the 2080.

The RX 5700/XT has like 75-80% of the 2080's performance at a decent discount, it's the easy choice IMO. still plenty for 1440p 144hz gaming.

yep and 6 handles it well too.  3900X is better for streaming even more

 

Streaming on the side didn't read "serious streamer" to me.  But if so, get the 3700X.
