Which switch keys do you prefer and why ?

Turtle Rig

My experience is not that extensive, never tried very expensive switches, but other than that I like fairly light tactile switches that still retains as much tactility as possible, and so far my favorite switches are Outemu Skies, but there still are tactile switches I haven't tried, but want to try, so that might change.

currently im using cherry mx black. im always love linear switches, and especially heavier ones. i learnt typing using model-Ms back in primary school but im not a fan of clicky switches.

however right now i lost faith in cherry due to their increasingly lowered quality. newer switches arent nearly as smooth as old ones, and my keyboards has two faulty switches due to bad contact that i had to replace myself.

im interesting in cherry mx clear (or white), kaihua box white (that one comes with clicky bar). and other mx black equivalent too.

why everybody post the spec of their rig here? i dont! cuz its made of mashed potatoes!

Out of my fairly limited sample size, my favorite mechanical is probably the Romer-G like what's used in the G Pro TKL. My absolute favorite switch of all though is just my Latitude E4310's keyboard or a 2015 or earlier Unibody MacBook Pro. They're just so damned nice to type on for extended periods of time for me.

And I should care why? It's my preferred switch, not yours or Tom's.

Did you forget to watch this?

We gotta get @Dan Castellaneta to rip it for you.

We can't have non-noise normalized stuff.

Cheery MX Brown's with noise-dampening o-rings or bust for me. I have a Logitech G710+ and G610 Brown and find it difficult to type on anything else. I like MX Browns because they're the right kind of tactile for my needs, but not too noisy when used in an office environment.
