I'm confused.

So, title is about iPhones and when you should buy them, but then it seems to go off-track and talk about when you can get deals on cpu/mobo combo's.

Like, I get how they got there but when I clicked the video I did not expect getting tips on when you can get deals on cpu/mobo parts.

 

Also there's no outro, hooray for QC... Cmon guys, this screams rushed and clickbait.

Imo what you should have done is take the first 5 minutes, condense it to 2-3 minutes and keep it for the actual iPhone review.

 

And the visual at 4:15 is a mess but that might just be me.

 

Complete guesswork: if you want to evaluate a new employee it might be a good idea to tackle it a bit different, like, for editors, let them all create the same video but only release them here and let the community give feedback. People here know it's a nice community, we aren't toxic (most of us at least) and don't mind giving good and bad feedback. It's just a suggestion.

Title makes you think a certain video is happening yes.

But he does explain its a video about the knock on effect towards the start.

Here's the real tip that ppl should follow on tech hardware instead of doing the stupid endless waiting game. When you want something, commit to it. It's that simple.

 

There are really just 3 types of buyers.

  • Upgrade every year, the user clearly doesn't care about price.
  • Buy last gen flagship when new model comes out and old ones drop price while not lagging much behind in performance. Do this every year or every 2 years.
  • Buy current newest flagship and stick with it for long. Since it's flagship it'll last for years before actually becoming slow or worn out unlike entry or mid rangers that get uselessly slow pretty fast.

The seasonality of computer parts is generally a thing to keep in mind.

Though, if one were to buy each component when it is at its cheapest, then one would likely eventually paint oneself into a figurative corner.

 

Or one could just use the same computer for 7 years, even if it started out as a fairly mid ranged PC to begin with, though I think it is about time for me to upgrade, but I'll wait a bit more, see if Intel drops something interesting, or if AMD has a trick up their sleeve.
